IndianaHauntedHouses.com recently sat down with Justin Eikenberry of Streaper’s Haunted Adventure, to discuss what's new at Streaper’s Haunted Adventure for the 2023 Halloween Season!

What's new at Streaper’s Haunted Adventure for 2023? Do you have any new rides, attractions, or special features that Haunt Seekers should know about?

Streaper's 2023 has heightened the intensity of fan favorites and revamped a few classics from over the years to be even bigger and better!

What are you most excited about for the 2023 Halloween Season?

We've seem to have created a game with "Finding Norma Streaper" and it is a lot of fun to watch guests attempt to save Norma throughout the haunt.

What differentiates Streaper’s Haunted Adventure from other local haunts in Indiana?

We consider ourselves more original and hands on than most haunts. With various crawling experiences and extensive key actor engagement, our guests tell us its one of the most interactive and hands on haunts they've ever visited.

How long has Streaper’s Haunted Adventure been in business? Can you tell us a bit more about Streaper’s Haunted Adventure's history?

We began in 2010 with a big idea and small budget. We dream big and we find ways to create original props and animatronics that you won't find anywhere else. At our 10 year mark in 2020, we completely re-themed the entire haunt with new scares and a new layout. Every year something changes. Every night something changes. You never know what lurks inside these walls.

What's your favorite experience since opening Streaper’s Haunted Adventure?

The guests. It has been an absolute honor to see so many repeat customers and guests traveling from all over to visit us. Their screams fuel the nightmare!

How long is a typical haunt experience at Streaper’s Haunted Adventure from start to finish?

Depending on your interactive spirit, the haunt can take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes to complete.

On a scale from 1 to 10, how scary would you say Streaper’s Haunted Adventure is? Why?

Streaper's is a 9.5 out of 10 for scariness. We believe we push you to that limit but still allow you to have fun during your tour through the old Central Grade School.

Does Streaper’s Haunted Adventure's property have any real haunted history? Do you have a spooky encounter you'd like to share?

Of course.... But we don't want to upset the spirits so we'll keep that information to ourselves. Our spectral nightmares have never hurt a guest, but let's just say, sometimes they are't happy with our creators.

What inspired you to open up a haunted attraction? What's your favorite part of the business?

Our producers have over 25 years in the business and have always been drawn to horror and entertainment. Mashing the two together just seemed right. Their favorite part of the business is the creativity and ingenuity that works with the horror genre to calculate the perfect scare.

How has new technology (i.e. animatronics, special props, etc) helped you to enhance Streaper’s Haunted Adventure?

This part is special to us. We try to steer clear of mainstream props or things you've seen in movies. We use pneumatics, electric motors, pulley systems, prop controllers, sensors, timers and many other secrets of the trade to build our own original animatronic props.

Can Streaper’s Haunted Adventure accommodate large groups? How many people can experience Streaper’s Haunted Adventure together as a group?

Streaper's can accommodate large groups but keep in mind these groups will be split up into groups of 6-8 to best experience our attraction. If we send larger groups through all together, your experience won't be as great. We like to take our time with you!

Does Streaper’s Haunted Adventure offer any special deals, discounts, or coupons?

We offer $5 off combo passes for Haunt and Escape Game combo tickets! We also offer a child discount as well as a "second time through" discount for the same evening.
