This restaurant is located inside the Studebaker Mansion, which was once owned by Clement Studebaker of automobile fame. His son and nanny were seriously injured when a fire broke out in the nursery and he killed himself shortly after. Employees of the restaurant have reported seeing things move on their own and things moving from the corner of their eye.

  • Wedding sadness

I attended a wedding here. The bride and groom married on the grand staircase inside. Once done, we walked around the house for a while. I went up the grand staircase, then turned to look down upon it. An overwhelming sadness flooded me and I had to hold back tears. It just came out of no where. I walked away and was able to compose myself. What happened by that staircase?

  • I was scared witless

So a friend of mine worked in the restaurant and got me a private tour. He took me to the rooms that had caught on fire, while I was looking in the mirror, it seemed like someone had blown ash in my face, temporarily losing the sight in both my eyes until we could rinse it out, thing was, when we were rinsing the whatever out of my eyes, it was ash colored. I haven't been back since.

  • Ghost alarm

Mother's Day 2017, we went for brunch. I had the ghost detector app on my phone on monitor. I left the phone on the table while going to the line for the omelette bar. My younger son remained behind at the table. When we returned, my son said , "Nice job Dad, your phone like alarmed really loud, and everyone in the dining room stared at me, and I didn't know how to turn it off.". I checked the phone, and detector got a hit, a spike in EMF for several seconds. I couldn't see any obvious rational reason. Later I walked around the house with the ghost detector app on, and got nothing. Did the ghost pay the dining room a visit?

  • History

Not sure where you got your history, but the fire was in 1889 and Mr. Studebaker died in 1901 of the flu. He was 70.

  • Blue orb

I was seated by a fireplace having dinner and saw a blue orb streak across it and disappear into the bricks. It was amazing.
