This heritage center and museum is housed inside a building that once operated as the county poor farm. It is rumored to be haunted by its former residents and witnesses have reported hearing footsteps on the second floor while no one is up there, a baby crying, unexplained smells and lights that turn on by themselves.

  • I wasn't the only one to have an encounter.

Have gone several times. Smelled rose water, felt heat when no furnace in building, saw shadow people during remodeling and hear noises in rooms above when staff and tour attendees downstairs. Saw cat ghost, too. A "must do"!
